Monthly Round-Up: July, 2009

Whaddayaknow? My first month as a “serious” blogger is over! It went rather well, if I may say so myself.

I’ve worked continiously on the blog layout since it went live, simply because several things I overlooked while building it offline surfaced when it became fully operational…. as usual. I’ll probably keep doing it a little longer if I find more I want to add to the blog.

Play-Asia.com and AdToll advertisements have been put on the blog. Not to make some quick money, but to pay for the site upkeep and domain/hosting. The ads are handpicked by me, so they won’t show any bullshit ads like so many other sites. I’m a picky bastard and want to keep my blog nice and non-intrusive for the users, and the overall experience has to be great too! So again, no bullshit ads!

NetworkedBlogs now has Ca9ine.com in their pool (Thanks for the tip Magnus) and via Facebook, you can now follow the blog. I already have 6 Facebook followers! I have been relying solely on Feedburner and Twitter, and the stats from these two, and I had been ignoring all the other traffic. That’s been a little lame of me… so I’ve installed a few things backend, so I can keep track of stuff. To my surprise, I’ve got a shitload of traffic! And a whole lot of that traffic is coming from Facebook! I’ve added a widget from NetworkedBlogs, so you can easily follow Ca9ine.com by just clicking the link on it. It’s on the right sidebar all the way down there, you can’t miss it.

More to come! Maybe more shit will be added to the design and layout, or maybe it’ll stay as is! But time will tell! I’ve only just begun!

Big thanks to my readers! I hope you’ll keep reading! ‘Cos I will maybe implement some new additions to the blog called the Bog Blog. I love sitting on the toilet for about an hour a day.
