I Thought It Couldn’t Get Any Worse

Just when I thought my previous entry was the worst that could happen, I get word from my boss  just as I’m leaving work, that he’s gonna have to let me go. I’ve got one month left, then I’m out of a job. Financial reasons.

Great… What the fuck am I supposed to do now?

Last year, the same shit happened. I used to build boats, and I loved the job. Then we get word that 150 employees are getting laid off. Shortly after the company goes bankrupt, and we lose our jobs after a few months of being screwed out of a decent pay check. It’s always better to get fired than laid off, in my opinion. It pays better.

I was lucky to get the job I’m now going to lose in a month, and it’s hard to find jobs these days. God damn it…
