I've been in 4 or 5 clans, one of which I left due to bad leadership (the clan leader dropped all responsibility without telling anyone when WoW was released). To this day the only regret I have about leaving that clan is that I've lost contact with a lot of friends that I had in it. I've since joined another clan with no delusions of grandeur like being #1 in the world.....we're simply a group of semi-mature adults who enjoy a good game while BS'ing with one another on voice comms. If I weren't in a clan, I would most likely not be a gamer. The camaraderie is the biggest sell of being in a clan.....of course the clan servers that I have admin rights on are a nice plus. I was 100% dedicated to my old clan :4i: and am still 100% dedicated to my old clan mates, I even recruited one of them that I found into my new clan. I'm lucky to have been able to find another clan that values friendship over bein g the best. And that mkaes clans like mine the best. Very well put, and I couldn’t agree more.
